A Dragon Draft is a thrilling and strategic way to experience the Year of the Dragon card set. In this format, players sit in a group and receive a set number of booster packs. They carefully examine their first pack, select one card for their deck, and then pass the remaining cards to the next player. This process repeats until all cards from that pack have been chosen, then they open the next pack and continue the draft until all packs are used up.
The goal is to build a powerful and synergistic deck by strategically choosing the best cards available in each round. Each decision matters, as players aim to anticipate and counter the choices of their neighbors. It's a battle of wits and intuition, with everyone striving to craft the ultimate deck and emerge victorious. Whether you're a seasoned veteran or new to the game, a Dragon Draft is sure to challenge your creativity and strategic thinking!
A Clash Event is an exciting competition where players bring their carefully constructed decks to the table. Unlike drafting, where decks are built from scratch on the spot, a Clash Event allows participants to come prepared with their own customized, pre-built decks.
In this format, players face off in a series of three rounds, each round bringing new challenges and opportunities. The stakes are high, as a mini prize is awarded at the end of each round. To win big, players must strategize and adapt quickly, using their deck's strengths and weaknesses to outmaneuver their opponents.
With each round offering a new prize and challenge, a Clash Event keeps everyone on their toes, making it a thrilling and dynamic experience for players of all skill levels.
A New Player Event is a welcoming and engaging way for newcomers to dive into competitive card gaming. In this format, each participant receives six booster packs to build their deck. With these packs, they must carefully choose and assemble the best possible deck given their limited card pool.
To level the playing field and add an extra challenge, each contender starts with 5 fewer life points than usual. Throughout the event, players will compete in several rounds, each offering exciting mini prizes for the winners.
This unique event is an excellent way for new players to learn the game, hone their skills, and experience the thrill of competition in a supportive environment while vying for rewards.
